    I V. Rhacophorus chenfui, sp. nov. Type: No.528; adult female; Hui-ting-sze(慧灯寺), Mount Omei, Szechwan; 3850 feet altitude; July 25th, 1938; Collector C. C. Liu(刘承钊). Diagnosis: A Hyla- llke tree frog, smaller than denngsi savidi, leucomgstax, and slightly larger than oxgcephalus, Color uniform leaf green on back and lleshy purple on sides Tibiotarsal articulation only reaching the center of the eye in the new tree frog; tibi tarsal joint extending beyond the snout in oxgcephgalus. Description of type(figs. 12-15). Head equal un length an d widt, sloped anteriorlo; snout pointed, pointed, slope searting from internasla apace and projecting beyond the mouth. Tongue deeply notched at posterior end,and with many rounded papillae on dersal side; teo long rows lf vomerine teeth nenrly joining anterior dedges of choanae of choanae and converging posteriorly. From tip of snout to nostril longer than from nostril to anterior border of eye; canthus rostralis obtuse; loreal region oblique and sligh ly concave; nostril nostril slightly nearer to the eye; interorbital space slightly convex and greater than internasal space; eye woth horizontai pupil much larger than eyelid; tympanum small. distinct, and about half the interorbital space. Length of fore-limb about 60% of body length with a diameter of lower arm 10.4%. First linger is the sinallest and shortest, with a very small disc; second finger shorter than fourth; third finger being the longest, 27% of the body length with a disc 5%; ewbwell developed between second third, and fourth fingers, and feebly ondicated between first and second. Subart cular tubercles well developed. Discs somewhat aquarish at free ends. Hind limb moderate with tibiotarsal articulation reaehing the center of the eye; heels do not meet esch other when placed at light angles to the body; tibia about one third of the leg length; toes with discs similar in form and smaller in size to those of the fingers; webs slightly beyond the suba ticular tubercles next to the discs; intermetatarsal tubercle oval, prominent; outer tubercle being small. Skin eith granules above, with a glandulsr fold from posterior border of eye to shoulder, belly, and vetral side of femur with large polygona glandular areas; throat with smaller ones.
